Ceremony of Remembrance for our Children, Grandchildren, Siblings & Friends (Sponsored by Josh Rojas Foundation)
This soothing, non-denominational and spiritual observance has been held the second Sunday in December for the past several years in Pittsford, NY. It is held in conjunction with the Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting©. This observance had been solely sponsored by the Jeff Milano-Johnson Memorial Fund, with our assistance, for several years. However, in 2022, our foundation took over the sponsoring of this event and the ceremony was moved to the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Irondequoit, NY. Families and friends who have experienced the death of a child, young adult, sibling, or grandchild are welcome. We find such solace attending, participating in, and sponsoring this observance which is filled with poetry readings, candle lighting, soothing harp music and more.
